Method
Introduction
The purpose of this project is to allow students to demonstrate what they have learned about pollution over the course of the unit. Students will be required to use the basic information they have collected in order to inform the residents of Roebuck about the pollution in our area and the things that are being done about it. The students will be allowed to work individually or in pairs to produce either a decorated brochure or a power point presentation, given the following expectations:
Expectations
Final projects must be attractive, informative, and interesting. The students must display a both grasp of basic content taught and an ability to apply that information. Students will be required to evaluate a major corporations efforts to reduce pollution and to develop a plan of Pollution Reduction for Gable Middle School. **MUY IMPORTANTE: All information must relate back to Roebuck or Gable. Dry facts are boring I want to know how this relates to us!
BROCHURES and POWER POINTS must include at least 3 pictures. They must also include 4 articles detailing the Your Choice topics listed below. Brochures must be three panels, fully covered front and back. Power point presentations must include at least 6 slides.
